Reflection of Thoughts

Once a dog ran into a museum where all the walls, the ceiling, the door and even the floor was made of mirror. Seeing this, the dog froze in surprise in the middle of the hall, and a whole pack of dogs surrounded it from all sides, from above and below. When the dog bared his teeth, all the reflections responded to it in the same way.

Frightened, the dog frantically barked - the reflections imitated the bark and increased it many ...times. The dog barked even harder and the echo was keeping up. The dog tossed from one side to another, biting the air - his reflections also tossed around snapping their teeth.

Next morning the museum's security guards found the miserable dog, lifeless and surrounded by a million reflections of lifeless dogs. There was nobody else in the museum who meant any harm to the dog. The dog died fighting his own reflections.

The world doesn't bring good or evil on its own. Everything that is happening around us is the reflection of our own thoughts, feelings, wishes and actions.
The World is a big mirror. Strike a good pose!

Poison in Heart

An old Chinese parable

A daughter in law was sick of her mother in law and wanted to kill her.

She went to her uncle who was a master in Chinese herbs to get some poison to kill her.
"You have to give her this medicine for 6 months, it will be a slow poison.
But for these six months you have to be so nice to her that when she dies nobody suspects you."

The daughter in law took the medicine and started giving it to her mother.
She started being nice to her and gave her the medicine which was supposed to be the slow killer and hence started tolerating her nonsense too.

The same mother in law that used to seem to be strict and stubborn stopped seeming like one. Slowly the daughter in law started seeing the good side of the mother in law; a side that she never saw before.

After six months, she started feeling terrified that her mother in law was going to die so she went to her uncle and said give her antidote of the poison.

The uncle said "there was no poison in the medicine that I gave you. The poison was in your mind. In these six months you started getting better with her and she started to seem like a better person. My medicine actually killed the poison inside you and made you see the goodness in her."
