Funny but heart opening life facts…

Airports have seen more affectionate kisses than Wedding Halls..

The walls of Hospitals have heard more sincere prayers than the walls of Temples, Mosques & Churches…

Good Days or Bad Days depend on your thinking. What you call ” Suffocation” in local train becomes an “Atmosphere” in Disco…
**

Pizza always confuses us. It comes in a square box. When you open it, its round. When you start eating it, its triangle. Life & People are like Pizza. Looks different. Appears different & Behave absolutely different.

Who is packing your parachute?

Air Commodore Vishal was a Jet Pilot. In a combat mission his fighter plane was destroyed by a missile. He however ejected himself and parachuted safely. He won acclaims and appreciations from many.

After five years one day he was sitting with his wife in a restaurant. A man from another table came to him and said "You're Captain Vishal ! You flew jet fighters. You were shot down!"

"How in the world did you know that?" asked Vishal.

"I packed your parachute," the man smiled and replied. Vishal gasped in surprise and gratitude and thought if parachute hadn't worked, I wouldn’t be here today.Vishal couldn't sleep that night, thinking about that man. He wondered how many times I might have seen him and not even said 'Good morning, how are you?' or anything because, he was a fighter pilot and that person was just a Constable."

So friends, who is packing your parachute?

Everyone has someone who provides what they need to make it through the day.
We need many kinds of parachutes when our plane is shot down – we need the physical parachute, the mental parachute, the emotional parachute, and the spiritual parachute.
We call on all these supports before reaching safety.

Sometimes in the daily challenges that life gives us, we miss what is really important.
We may fail to say hello, please, or thank you, congratulate someone on something wonderful that has happened to them, give a compliment, or just do something nice for no reason.

As you go through this week, this month, this year, recognize the people who pack your parachute.

I love and appreciate the essence of gratitude in this message greatly.

The Great Albert Einstein Stories

(1)

One day during a speaking tour, Albert Einstein's driver, who often sat at the back of the hall during his lectures, remarked that he could probably give the lecture himself, having heard it so many times. Sure enough, at the next stop on the tour, Einstein and the driver switched places, with Einstein sitting at the back in his driver's uniform. Having delivered a flawless lecture, the driver was asked a difficult question by a member of the audience. "Well, the answer to that question is quite simple," he casually replied. "I bet my driver, sitting up at the back there, could answer it!"

(2)

Albert Einstein's wife often suggested that he dress more professionally when he headed off to work. "Why should I?" he would invariably argue. "Everyone knows me there." When the time came for Einstein to attend his first major conference, she begged him to dress up a bit. "Why should I?" said Einstein. "No one knows me there!"

(3)

Albert Einstein was often asked to explain the general theory of relativity. "Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour," he once declared. "Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That's relativity!"

(4)

When Albert Einstein was working in Princeton university, one day he was going back home he forgot his home address. The driver of the cab did not recognize him. Einstein asked the driver if he knows Einstein's home. The driver said "Who does not know Einstein's address? Everyone in Princeton knows. Do you want to meet him?. Einstein replied "I am Einstein. I forgot my home address, can you take me there? "The driver reached him to his home and did not even collect his fare from him.

(5)

Einstein was once traveling from Princeton on a train when the conductor came down the aisle, punching the tickets of every passenger. When he came to Einstein, Einstein reached in his vest pocket. He couldn't find his ticket, so he reached in his trouser pockets. It wasn't there, so he looked in his briefcase but couldn't find it. Then he looked in the seat beside him. He still couldn't find it.

The conductor said, 'Dr. Einstein, I know who you are. We all know who you are. I'm sure you bought a ticket. Don't worry about it.' Einstein nodded appreciatively. The conductor continued down the aisle punching tickets. As he was ready to move to the next car, he turned around and saw the great physicist down on his hands and knees looking under his seat for his ticket.

The conductor rushed back and said, 'Dr. Einstein, Dr. Einstein, don't worry, I know who you are. No problem. You don't need a ticket. I'm sure you bought one.' Einstein looked at him and said, 'Young man, I too, know who I am. What I don't know is where I'm going.'

(6)

When Einstein met Charlie Chaplin:

Einstein said, "What I admire most about art, is its universality. You do not say a word, and yet ... the world understands you."

“It's true,” replied Charlie Chaplin, "But your fame is even greater: The world admires you, when nobody understands you."

Dilemma Happens

A perfect example for the dilemma we often face in any decision making.

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other  not.
Only one child played on the unused track, the rest on the  operational track.

A train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the unused track  and save most of the kids.

However, that would also mean the lone child playing  by the unused track would be sacrificed.

Or would you rather let the train go  its way?

Let's take a pause to think what kind of  decision we could make................have you thought enough !!!!

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one  child.  Save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally.

But, have  you ever thought that the child chose  to play on the unused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was.

Dilemma Happens
This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office,  community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the RIGHT is  often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or  ignorant the majority are, and how far-sighted and knowledgeable the wise are.

The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would  not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids  playing on the operational track were aware  that the track was  still in use, and that they would run away when they hear the train's  sirens.

Now,  If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because  he never expects that a train could come over on the unused track!

Further, that track  was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to  such a track, we may put the lives of all passengers on board at stake!  And in our attempt to save  few kids thinking that the train may run over them, we might end up  sacrificing hundreds of people.

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be  made, we may not realize that hasty decision may not always be the right one.

and what's popular isn't always Right."

10 Tools Towards a Happy Life

#1 See that being joyful is your fundamental responsibility

The first and most fundamental responsibility for a human being is to become a joyous being. To be happy is not the ultimate aspect of life. It is the fundamental aspect of life. If you are not happy, what else can you do with your life? Only if you are happy, can other great possibilities open up.

Whatever you do, it is only your inner quality that you are going to spread. arise. Whether you like it or not, that is the reality. Unless something of true value happens within you, you cannot do anything of tremendous value to the world. So, if you are concerned about the world, the first thing you must do is transform yourself into a joyous being.

Poison in Heart

An old Chinese parable

A daughter in law was sick of her mother in law and wanted to kill her.

She went to her uncle who was a master in Chinese herbs to get some poison to kill her.
"You have to give her this medicine for 6 months, it will be a slow poison.
But for these six months you have to be so nice to her that when she dies nobody suspects you."

The daughter in law took the medicine and started giving it to her mother.
She started being nice to her and gave her the medicine which was supposed to be the slow killer and hence started tolerating her nonsense too.

The same mother in law that used to seem to be strict and stubborn stopped seeming like one. Slowly the daughter in law started seeing the good side of the mother in law; a side that she never saw before.

After six months, she started feeling terrified that her mother in law was going to die so she went to her uncle and said give her antidote of the poison.

The uncle said "there was no poison in the medicine that I gave you. The poison was in your mind. In these six months you started getting better with her and she started to seem like a better person. My medicine actually killed the poison inside you and made you see the goodness in her."
